  • Is Narudi Tented Camp really the most affordable camp in Serengeti?

    Yes, however, it stronlgy depends on the way you are booking a stay.

    The less you are organising by yourself, the more people will add up a service fee.

    In comparison, the rates per night for the Narudi Tented Camp are among the best* rates for Central Serengeti.

  • In case of any questions or needs during my stay, whom should I contact?

    Our team at Narudi will always be glad to help you out. Please don't hesitate talking to them.

  • Are there any fences protecting the camp from wildlife?

    No, as per the parks regulations, it is not allowed to build fences which would protect the camp from wildlife visits.

    But that is a good thing!

    It is not uncommon that herds of Zebras and Gnus are visiting the camps lush surroundings. Often your breakfast can be enjoyed while the restaurant is surrounded by animals.

  • Is it safe staying in the Serengeti wilderness?

    Yes it defintely is, as long as you follow these simple rules:

    • stay in the tents after nightfall
    • never leave the camps pathways to "explore" on your own
    • follow the teams instructions, outligned during check-in
    • always keep a big distance between you and the wildlife
    • do not feed wildlife
    • in case that animals are sneaking around your tent, keep calm, silent and the entry points shut

    There never has been a reported case of a predator breaking into a tent.


  • Which bed configurations are possible?

    Our beds are following the common hotel design as they are modular.

    Therefore we can arrange single, double, twin, triple and quadruple room configurations.

    You are free to choose whether we are arranging for a big double bed or a twin bed configuration consisting of two separate single beds.

  • Do you provide baby beds?

    Yes we do provide sturdy baby beds handcrafted from wood.


    Babies from 0 to (including) 2 years age are staying free of charge.

  • I am having a special dietary request, is it possible to fulfill it?

    That depends on your request but generally spoken, we can arrange for a wide variety of special meals.

    Inform your Tour Operator, Travel Agency or directly us so that we can arrange your request.

  • Can I pay by credit card?

    Yes, payments for extra services can be made in cash or by credit card.

  • Do I need a charging Adapter?

    At the Narudi Tented Camp all power sockets are equipped with multi-national charging adapters as well as USB charging ports.
